Natalie,

What make you think he's partially sighted?

Hello there, Gary fumbles around his cage and often misses with his beak when testing for a perch . And just the way he generally moves about.

He has red eyes, like an albino i dont know whether this will have anything to do with it!
I will try to get him moving about on video, but he doesnt move about that much at the mo!!! also im no David Attenburgh !!:D

Natalie,

As you stated elsewhere, red eyed yellow would be a lutino. I think they have specific lightling requirements because of the lack of pigment in their eyes (just like albino people need to wear sunglasses when the go out - you may try looking into this. Alternately, if he's just fledged, he may not be very coordinated yet, how old is he?

Regards,

Art S.

PS. David Attenburgh had to start somewhere - you'll become brilliant at this before you know it ;) .

Hi Natalie,

Gary's just a ball of cuteness! What is the bar spacing for the cage he's in? It looks a little wide -- I'd just be concerned that he'll try to get out and get his head stuck. Believe it or not, it's happened before and ended up being fatal :(

Just a heads up :)

Kathy

Very cute bird! I agree, make sure the bar spacing is 1/2 inch wide.
