Hi Everyone, happy new year. Been awhile since I've been on here. I think my 2 parrotlets are starting to get along ok together. They're feeding/preening each other and what-not. I wanted to get them a new cage, and was wondering if anybody knew if the famous HQ flight cage would be sufficient for a pair? Right now they are housed in a cage that's approximately 30X18X38, but I wanted to get them something a little bigger. Thanks!

I have my two in the HQ Flight and it's nice for them. If I were to buy it again, I'd put the extra money out for the double flight for them. But, I'm working on a bird room for them, where they can fly free and have lots of nets, swings, perches, etc. so the double flight won't be needed.

I have two in my flight cage. No problems so far..but they were also a bonded (female:female) pair before I put them together. There is enough space for the both of them. Even out of the cage they are stuck together like glue so two seperate cages would 1) do more harm then good, and 2) be useless cause they would be stuck to the side that let them touch each other.

I'm not sure if mine just feel cramped in theirs or if they are just neurotic... but theya re still over preening each other... they look like drowned rats. Overall it's a good cage.

When I read this, I'm sorry but the way you put the look of your babies just made me laugh out load. Bless their hearts they just want to look good, but are over doing a little. Glenda:D
