View Full Version : Fleece "tent"

I went back to the bird store yesterday to pick up another one of the torn up fleece things that boo likes to snuggle in, and also found a fleece tent. Its not like a tent thats a triangle, but more like a hanging pocket with a hole in the side (this is such a bad description, i know!!! lol sorry!!!) So far all she has done is bit it, so hopefully today she will give it a try :)

My boys have a fleece tent that has a wooden perch for them to stand on. They love it.

One of the perch tents, Pam? I would love one of those for Jack! I just haven't been able to find it in any of my local stores and anytime i try to buy it online the shipping is the same price as the actual tent.

Oh how cute! I'll have to make one for Max. I've made lots of tents for our hedgehog, but never thought to make a hanging one!

That really is adorable, Anna! I wonder if my p'lets would like one. They have had 2 other kinds, and really what they do most is perch on top of them at night. Boogie, my sun, used to go in his happy hut to sleep, but now he sleeps in his Birdie Binkie every night. He LOVES it.

It's sort of like a teepee. The bottom is closed, and flat. That is the cutest pic!:)
Here is Jenjii's, it's a fleece snuggly. It's open on both ends. He has another one that I swap this out with, so it can be washed.
I just had to have this one because of the hearts.:D

Does it have anything in the bottom to stiffen and make it firm? I want to make a couple for my plucked babies but don't know what to do with the bottom.

I believe some use a tough plastic, and some are cardboard.

It feels like there is carboard inbetween the fleece.
