From Tania, Baby Lola's mom -
"Thank you all for your concern & shared hope of finding my Baby Lola. I am very sad and sorry to announce this very bad news. Lola turned up after she had already passed. She got herself into trouble and now she'll be waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. :( Looks like she got her head/neck caught in something and she couldn't get it back out. She must have suffocated or broken her neck. She wasn't there long before it happened, there were no poops at all, it happened overnite so I did not have even a chance to rescue her sadly.
I am so so very heartbroken and grief striken. It hurts so much to lose a beloved pet. Lola had a special place in my home, she was very much a part of the family and a very loved pet.
She spent lot's of time out of her cage, was given almost daily warm showers, treats, lots of neck scritches and given full medical attention when needed. She was semi-flighted at the time, but has had the pleasure of being fully flighted. She would spend hours helping me type on the computer, chewing up my printer paper and mail, pooping everywhere or just hanging out with the family.
Sadly she lived a very short life, her birthday 1st would have been in 2 days, and I am missing her terribly. I loved her dearly with all my heart."
To those of you who supported me when I needed it most. I want to say thanks for letting me be a part of this great forum. I will be having a special burial and service for my Lola soon. I will bury her at my Dad's who has a nice back yard, as I don't. That way, I can always visit her and keep her nearby. I will forever remember her and I know it will hurt for a long long time. I wish I had never made that fatal mistake of not putting her away that last nite, I have learned a very hard lesson, the very hard and unfortunate way. Until that day, I will look forward to being reunited with my Baby Lola at the Rainbow Bridge.
Sadly & Sincerely,
Tania
