No, I believe they're unable to hold food in their claws to eat like the bigger parrots.
I agree with Kathy, I don't believe they hold food in their feet like the larger Parrots while eating.
Although they will at times hold food 'down' with their foot while they eat it [as if standing on it] - you will also at times see this behavior when they are tearing larger items apart, like tissue.
Mine grab stuff but I'm not sure if they have ever held stuff like the big boys while they eat. One of the things they do like big birds is how the climb around - this is definately big parrot like.

Most do not. I am sure some can, but on the whole they do not. I have seen some that grab a toy, but most do not feed themselves like other parrots. Not daft at all!!!http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/Sally11/Cladsmchipper.jpg

Mine won't hold food. He will however hold toys like rope while he chews on it.

Kai holds stuff down when he eats (puts his food on it), but he doesn't hold stuff.

Cas can hold something and eat it but I think it's hard for him because of his disability. So yes, they can but mostly they don't.
