I had some branches left over from making Max's perches and chew toys for everyone, so I bought a couple unfinished plaques from Michaels for about $2.00. All you need is a drill, a big drill bit, saw, and maybe some glue.
Maybe I'll try some more trick training, but for now he can get some sunshine indoors. :D

Very clever! Now if they had Michael's in Mexico, I'd try that too!

I have similar perches for all my birds. I use them everyday. I use a 10x10 or 12x12 piece of pine with dowels from Home Depot. I have found that a dual post or stonehenge type perch works best for me. I also stain and varnish the base to keep dupe from sticking.

We need that for clicker training! I must put that on my list... #43... Hahahaha! Lots of things to do for the Kiwi.
