Babies =)

Just wanted to let you guys know that they are doing well. They are a week old and one of them is starting to crack a eye open =) I have been picking them up 1 to 3 times a day. They are soooo cute. I wish I had the thing to put the pictures on the computer so you guys can see them...Sooooooo cute...just wanted to update you all =)

That's so exciting...it's to bad you can't post pics. How are the mom & dad reacting to you holding the babies?

The dad is mean so I make sure he is not in the box. Well if he was I would just push him out he may bit me but not toooo hard. The mom is sweet she puts up a fuss hoping I will not get her babies but when I do she dont do anything...LOL. Sometimes I put her out the box too so I dont have to worry about her flying out the box. She will stay out and as soon as I leave she is right back in. Everything going well so for =)

Well I had 4 eggs 2 was bad and I have 2 babies =)

How old are the babies? About 1 week? What do they look like?

They are a little over a week and they are cute. Little pink skin with white fuzz and black eyes...=)

They must be so amazing...I can't wait... that is if ours hatch. I have noticed that the color of 2 of the eggs seems to be changing from a darker pink to a lighter almost translucent looking pink. Is this normal?

How old are your eggs. At a few days to a week old you can old them to a light and see the little blood lines...That means they are good and a baby is growing...

The oldest one is 10 days. the last egg was laid on saterday. I thought another was comming but I think it just looks that way for a few days because now her vent area looks smaller. I haven't really touched the eggs. I've held Sprouty and picked her off the eggs, but I'm nerves about touching the eggs. I'll hold one up to the light later and see. thanks.:D

How are them eggs doing? Have you put them too the light yet? If you do just do it for a few sec. dont hold them to the light for too long. But it is very cool to see. And the day before it it due to hatch if you put it to your ear you can hear the baby in the egg....SoOoOo cool =)

Ok they are both boys and the oldest is green and the other is blue...They are sweet but hide when I pick them up =)

How sweet:):) I can't wait until I can hold mine.. I held one yesterday just for a second but it seems so fragile that i'm scared I will hurt it. How old are yours? Sprouty's 4th egg hatched this AM the last one is due to hatch sat AM I'm going to post some pics.later.

they will be 4 weeks this weekend. I was holding mine from day one. I didnt want to wait for the eyes to open and then start holding them cause then they would be scared.

Wow time flies, It seem like just yesterday that yours were hatching and now they are cute little featherballs, amazing...:) Are you going to keep both of them?

Im really not sure. I was thinking about it but I really wanted a girl. I was thinking of keeping the blue one cause it was born on my husbands birthday =)
