Egg #5

Egg # 5 arrived this AM and Sprout looks as though there is yet another to come. She is still allowing me to pick her up and being friendly. Pip rode on my shoulder to get fresh water. I will post some pics. later I had to recharge my battery.

Sure can see #6 clearly! Our only hen is Pepper the Macaw, and thankfully, she has never laid eggs. Thanks for the photos :)

I'm so in awe of little Sprouty, she's working so hard. I can't believe all these eggs and shells have been made by her little body. She takes her job of sitting very seriously. Whenever I check on her she is faithfully sitting. She feels like she is generating alot of heat when she sits.

WOW how cute. Yeah you can see that next egg coming =) My female is sweet too. She lets me pick her up and the I put her out the nest box so that I can pick up each baby. And not have to worry about her getting out. When I close the box and walk away she is right back in there...LOL...She will put up a fuss not for me to pick her or her babies up but that is all she does is fuss..>LOL...Thanks for the photos
