I am not familiar with the brand. I personally try not to buy anything that is artificial in nature for the birds or the dogs. I try to do all organic that way I can control the ingredients.

Coloured pellets are artifically dyed... and being as the dye is un-natural, there is the risk that they are unhealthy for animals. I myself feed Jack Zupreem coloured pellets and I'm planning on changing him over to the natural Zupreem pellets once this bag is 3/4 done...

that aside, i've never seen that brand before.... Reta will likely let you know whether it's a decent brand or not... I myself wonder if the pellets are too big. In the picture they look HUGE! I know Jack wouldn't eat them... he doesn't like his food in big chunks.. he won't touch it. The little toad!lol

Harrison's is the best pellet - you can find many on-line sources, and some avian vets sell it. Pretty Bird is in about the same category as Kaytee - I wouldn't feed either to my birds. The artificial dyes and artificial fruit fragrance in any colored pellets are not good for birds. When I got a Greenwing Macaw, she had been fed on Kaytee Rainbow pellets - her feathers had a weird artificial odor that went away when she switched over to a fresh food diet.

An avian vet reported to Shauna, one of the owners of Feeding Feathers Yahoo forum, that he was seeing pink to red blood serum in birds eating colored pellets. The blood serum should be clear to slightly yellowish, not pink or red.

I like to feed a natural, whole foods diet, and that doesn't include artificial dyes and flavorings. Just my opinion!
