John I don't know? I have given mine popcorn that I popped and never thought about it, I wonder why you couldn't. Bitsey Jo never eats but one piece of it and she's still here. Let's see what everyone else says.

I put a few grains in paper bag and watch it very carefully so it doesn't burn.
Paulie will usually scream it it eat a few bites and then make "popcorn soup" and eat some more of it!

I get the little corn cobbs for birds at Petco. I am sure our popcorn is fine, but it often has some kind of oil or salt on it.

To be on the safe side, I wouldn't feed them our buttered popcorn. I've never read up on anything about it, but just a precaution.
