Went well! Both are deemed healthy and happy birds. Yeah! Ziggy has a pending CBC and they both have pending bloodwork for PBFD and Chlamydia for boarding, but the vet said she sees no sign of either in them. She thinks Ziggy is getting ready to molt, b/c she feels pins coming up on his head. I felt them too. So this is why he has little downy fluffs coming off sometimes. He has no bald spots or feathers that look damaged or chewed. She said Emmie's aren't looking chewed either, and the new feathers she's grown (she plucked before) are looking normal, but she has slow growth. She said she might be pulling them when the pins first come through b/c they itch, and suggested checking our humidity levels and if too dry, put a humidifier near the cage. She said Emmie gained a little weight since last time but she's not overweight - still good. She also said that Ziggy sung the blues when she took Emmie out of the cage. He always does that here too - he can't stand to be separated from her for even a minute...unless it's his turn out of the cage. ha ha! Anyway, good to hear good news about my little green dumplings. :D

Eric,
Thank you so much. I know you have been worrying about your little guy so much, so I feel lucky to have 2 that are healthy. Emmie's feather issue has been worrisome to me, but it must worry me more than it does her. I hope your precious little guy continues to improve. keep me posted, please!
