Don't be afraid! Show off your little green friends. We all love looking at pictures of them, so feel free to share. I know from experience on other pet websites that funny captions to go along with your pictures often get some activity going in your thread. I love reading captions; I can always picture the bird saying what the caption says. :p

Those are the thumbnails. Usually, clicking on them will bring you to the full size picture.

Hey there,

I was referring to the 'manage attachments' dialog box. Most file sizes are restricted to 19.5 kb or 97.7 kb. I go into photoshop and try to change my picture's size so that it is the allowable size and end up with junk. Perhaps you help me in this area. I'll try another to see if I am still having trouble.

If you want to include photos in your posts, you can upload them at a photo hosting site such as imageshack.us or photobucket.com, get the URL to the picture, and put that URL in IMG tags (click the http://talkparrotlets.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif button and put the URL there).

I think if I ever decided to pair up one of my boys
I would go for a white or blue dilute

If you were to breed Bunsen there is a 67% chance that he is split to blue and only a 33% that he is straight dilute (American Yellow). If I were to breed him I would set him up with a green double split hen. If he is split to blue you would have a 12.5% chance of getting your blue dilute (American White). Thats how I got my first blue dilute.

Yah, I was thinking about it since... Kiwi and Kieko would be living with me all the time and thier lifespan is 30yrs. I would say when I get out of the house and make a average living... I am going to save up. I know that male/male pairs arent as good as male/female pairs, but I won't breed. I might just a few times... you never really know. :)

O! Yah! just a quick question. Can two pairs be housed in the same cage if it is big enough?

What I do after I get the pics off my computer and onto photobucket.com is just start a reply and copy/paste directly onto the reply instead of the extra step.

Oh, Yah....:D I did it. Here is Bluebell & Taylor, Blue is the newest member of the pluckers club.:( I gave them a nestbox yesterday, I don't know if that will help or not.

She is molting and is a tad cranky but loves head scratches when I put my hand near the cage, she cocks her head and wants her head scratched. Right now, she is sitting on my shoulder and doesn't want to go back to the cage.

Go to Photobucket. Pick out the image you want to use. Place your cursor on it. A small box and some code will appear. Click the box so you get a check in it. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click on Generate images. Copy the code form the box that says clickable thumbnails for message boards. Then come back here and paste your code in your message. That should do it. (I know there are other ways, but I find this one makes the most sense to me. Good luck.)

I was actually wondering what kind of mutation she is.... she looks like a pastel blue to me, but I don't know. I've been looking online for comparative pictures with all the mutation colours and I can't find it. At least I can't find them all at the same place, I was going to propose that we could try creating a tread with pictures of all the different variations - among everyone here, there might be examples of all of the possible colours :)

click on that, and theres abit down the left hand side of the page, if you look in the 'settings and options' bit you can change your avatar and signature

I'd be very careful with that toy if I were you. One of the threads got hooked around Pepper's leg and neck once!!!! :eek: After I got her free I took the toy away....

Hmmm, good to know. I've never had problems, but usually I clip it to the base of the thread to the side of the cage... will have to check them to make sure that they still look good! I would remove them, but one of their favorite toys... maybe I can unthread them and string them onto my stainless steel kabob thingie instead...
