On Oct. 7th, I found a yellow parrotlet on my neighbor's lawn that was eating the seeds of grass along with some wild sparrows. I first saw her the day before and when she came back, I set up a cage with millet spray to rescue her. I don't know how long she was outside. She is very aggressive and will approach to bite whenever she sees my hands. I have to wear gloves to do anything in the cage because she has bitten me
and it hurts. I have 5 budgies and have no experience with parrotlets.

Simply put in "Parrotlet Forums" during a google search and TP was one of the first few to come up. I am on a couple other ALL BIRD forums and either they just aren't active with in the whole forum, or they arent active at all in the parrotlet part of the forum. We have a big old farmhouse in Pennsylvania, six children ages 8 - 20 and a docile dog that spends a lot of time outside. Our 4 cats stay outside too. Found this site by searching for Parrotlets in MN. I have a clean green male parrotlet that is 3 years old. I also have 2 orange-cheeked waxbills Bella (female) & Pepper (?) and a one year old maltese name Phoebe. My husband Jim graciously tolerates my critters.
