Two birds in one cage

I don't plan on doing this, and if I did it would be in the very distant future but I was curious; what kinds of birds do parrotlets get along with best? What would you recommend? (Budgies, another parrotlet, etc.) Does size matter, meaning do they get bullied by larger birds? Would it be ok if they are in the same cage? (I have a very large cage) I'd appreciate any knowledge and again, I'm not currently planning on doing this, just curious.

From all i've read, they are feisty little things and should not be housed with anything else. even housing multiple pairs can be a problem!

You even have to be careful with one pair.
