That is a huge step forward!!! I think you are working at the right pace for her. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks Nita.
You are right, while taming / training our parrots, we need to adjust to the speed they are comfortable with, but it is often not easy and sometimes very discouraging.
However, after this small step forward, I am energized and ready to continue.

Sounds like you are making excellent progress with her! Sometimes you just have to wait for them to decide to be your friend.

i used to take scooter with me everywhere in a small travel cage. he did fine for sleepovers and loved the car rides. you just have to make sure the a/c isn't blowing directly on them. he liked to show off in stores when people would come up and look at him in my cart! never a dull moment, : )

I took Pixie to Target with me today and she did great. She was interested in everything while we were driving. She looks so darn cute when she turns her head almost upside down when she is curious.
Shopping in Target went fine too. She was extremely quiet, but no wonder since that was her very first outing.
I am glad she did not chirp because when we travel to visit our friends we will be staying in a hotel that does not allow pets, so I will have to smuggle her inside :)
Wish me luck, LOL!
If there are any problems, of course she can stay at our friends' house but I'd rather have her with me - more quality time.
