Moderators

I think the time has come to bring at least one moderator on board. I'm looking to hire one (or possibly two) moderator(s). Seeing as we have a pretty good community so far, the jobs shouldn't be too hard, but moderators must be on the lookout for trolls, spam, etc. Moderators must also be active members, and should visit the site several times per day. Also note that this is a volunteer position only.

So keep a look-out, because I might contact you and ask you to join the moderating team!

As I told Art I went from zero to hysterical when I read the thread. I feel protective over the site and it made me so aggravated. He'll be back or others will...Art's right We're growing and that's part of it, the bad part.

One of the responsibilities is to watch out for trouble members, like trolls. Also, you have to keep the peace and make sure things don't get out of control. I imagine that wouldn't be too hard here though, as we have a great bunch of people here. Also, you can delete posts and threads, move threads, close threads, etc.

My thoughts for the post are minimal intrusion; mostly troll and spam elimination and possibly - with your participation - a little clean-up like moving various intro threads into the intro section, etc.

However, I still have no idea how to do do anything - I'm sure that with Dave's and your help I'll get the hang of it.
