I got this a long time ago... put it in the cage, then put it back out. I just put it back in and Keiko and Kiwi went to town. They already chewed off one "handing blocks" off of it... I recommend this birdie bridge to all wood chewers!!

Really neat looking chew toy! My Kiwi is a chewer, so may have to consider this as an addition to her stash of toys!
Thanks

Gelato and Hpnotiq are the only 2 parrotlets out there that are NOT chewers. They like bells, more bells, and maybe just a few bells on the side. Okay so they also like swings. Swings and bells....

OH YES! BELLS! BELLS! BELLS! Anything with bells is #1 for her! She goes wild ringing those bells!
I bought a little toy perch at Petco that has a bell hanging off the end of it. There's a chain attached to the bell and the chain has a little "handle" on it that sticks up through the perch. When I looked at it, I thought, "What a stupid way to attach a bell to a perch!" and just put it in her cage. Well, Kiwi figured it out before I did! She started pulling on that little handle and it rings the bell like crazy! OHHHHH that's what it's for! She really goes to town on that thing! LOL!
Smart little bell-loving baby! :D

That is great! Chipper is a chewer, more as she gets older. 3 years old now.
She LOVES to play with bells etc, but she chews on wood and that is wonderful for the beak. Another things she loves to chew is this chew in the background. I forget the name right now. It is ALLLL chewed up now! Funny. See the rings? A cactus I think. Stacked up. She loves it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/Sally11/doorPICT0616500.jpg

I think becaue Gelato is NOT a chewer is the reason his beak is a little on the long side. He's got natural wood chew toys, leather chew toys, the same birdie kabob that you have, cuddle bone, and some birdie pinata toys... none of them have been destroyed. . . it's pathetic!

Chew chew chew. I think you can see the little bridge towards the bottom of her cage that is filled with chewable stuff, lol.

Sweet Pea and Scoot are chewers, they have destroyed a parrot pinata, I was using it as a decoration on top of thier cage, and wham see went up and chewed his eyes off first. I tied it in the cage, and they have worked on it for a month, its all a pile of paper now.. but I am getting a new one for them. This time I will have to take pictures. its a hoot.

Paulie likes to chew leather strips. There are some on his coconut swing and I have to replace them often.

I've been using the clicker to teach Emmie to chew on her wood chew toys, foraging boxes, and pinata. She now likes to chew on them sometimes without encouragement. She really is responding to the clicker.

Sadie's little eyes light up when she sees the clicker and stick. She knows that means she is going to get some nummy seeds. :)

I ended up ordering the Mini Rainbow Bridge -- hopefully she won't go through it toooo quickly! Found it at Amazon.com.
By the way, the Rainbow Bridge Jr. is also on Amazon.com for $9.90, a bit cheaper than Windy City -- just a thought.
Thanks for the recommendation!
