New little buddy

well... I have a foundling cockatiel... as of this Saturday. She is half starved and missing a toenail but hopefully she will continue socking away the vittles and be a healthy birdie again in no time....

heheh, well technically I didn't find her... someone else did... on a ledge of what you might call a tenament building in the rundown end of town.
She seems to be quite a sweetie. She has some muck on her from her travels and she's not allowed a bath for at least 2 weeks so she looks a bit worse for wear... but after having a p'let for so long, I had forgotten how big cockatiels are! They seem "a bit much" .. hehehe.

Glad she got to you! Hope she comes around health wise very soon. I'm sure she must have had a hard time in her travels, poor bird.
