Hi. My name is Jadine and I own a 9 month old male blue pacific parrotlet. His name is Belo. He is very fiesty and cute and I love him very much. I live alone so Belo gets a lot of attention. He doesn't seem to show a lot of interest in fresh fruit or vegetables; he actually seems frightened by them sometimes. He also goes crazy at the sound of plastic or paper bags being rustled. I'm wondering if anybody has the same type of experiences with their bird?

Both Sparky and MeMe, our parrotlets, respond just like yours does to rustling of paper or plastic bags.

Yep mine too welcome glad to meet you and Belo. Mine also acts all crazy when foods are offered. Some do and some don't you have a better chance to turn yours around because he is so young. Change him now if you can or you will end up like me being held hostage by a little green bird.lol
