I just want to give an update on how the flock is doing. I will like to announce that Kieko's toys are in Kiwi cage now. There are 5 food dishes (I found out that they love strawberries!) and 2 water dishes and enough toys to keep them occupied. I still havent gotten any playstands yet... maybe at the end of the summer because I want them to hang out at different spots and spend more time out of the cage. Kieko is not afraid of fingers anymore...that is only when he is with Kiwi. They barely fight, and because I am still not sure about letting Kieko sleep with Kiwi yet, Kieko is back in his small cage right beside Kiwi's cage for bedtime. Kieko loves to play and Kiwi loves to preen and cuddle.
Overall with the p'lets, they are doing very well. Now Cockatiels.... Sonnie...
He is eating greens now and less noisy. More loveable and calm. He still doesnt like me, but at least I got him to eat more healthier foods. I put some papertowel in his cage and he started gnawing on that... so I thought what if I put veggies on the papertowel. He ran right over and started eating. I gave him Kale, Brocolli, Collard, and few carrots, oatmeal, and Mango. He absolutely loves carrots, but I onoly give him three or four little tiny bits of it. He is not eating his crap anymore --eww.
