Hey, I was just going through some websites on Parrotlets and I stumbled upon this one, and decided to check it out.
I'm just trying to gather as much knowledge as possible about Parrotlets before I make the big and exciting leap to purchasing one.
It's a pleasure meeting you all and I hope you guys can help me with all my newbie questions :)

Well... she says I can come visit him in the next few days. Of course, he is still very young. So I might have to wait a month or so before taking him home.
But if I keep visiting i'll get to see him grow up :)
How many weeks before people usually sell their parrotlets, do you know?
Azale,
Is the bird hand fed / hand raised? i would highly recommend one of these.

The parrotlet (Rambo as he is called... not sure if I am going to keep the name, it's kind of cute:D ) is under "babies for sale" and is the second last.

There is nothing as cute as a little little baby, I wish I had one $120.00 is not alot to pay I believe I have seen them for $250 and up. What kind is it? Don't forget to ask?

Yeah $120 seems like a great price.
My parents didn't think so... so I started calling around at different pet stores.
One had them for $170 but that was a few years ago so she said the price would go out.
And the other had them for $250!
So my parents said that $120 is good :)
I believe it is a Pacific Green ;)

Congrats Azale on your new little baby. He is a cute one! They grow up so fast. Amazing that they go from a little pin feathered baby to a full size (not grown) bird in no time.
When I first started reading up about parrots, one author mentioned how fast they grew from the nest to full size. He made a good point.... you never see baby pigeons, do you??? Before that.... I never thought about it!
