Kiwi's New Favorite Food

Well Kiwi's discovered banan nut bread and he thinks it's YUM YUM. I finally had to take it away from him or he'd eat the whole dang thing! He also discovered that he likes broccoli too but no other veggies yet.

That is great! I make apple, sweet potato, banana, and oat bread for my little dog and Chipper. It is wonderful to see them enjoy our cooking!

If it's "people" banana nut bread, I'd not allow him to eat it. Probably made with white flour, sugar and oil or butter in addition to the banana and nuts which are fine. Sally makes special "bread" for her pets, and I'm sure uses whole grains and all nutritious ingredients. Quite a difference!

Yes, true. I can only use oats or oat flour for Trudy. Allergies.

For Chipper my Parrotlet, she gets only whole wheat flour, oats etc. You can let them eat a bit of the white flour, but for real food you are making, every bit counts. Like using good grains and ingredients. I do not use butter, sugar or salt.
