It is great to find a forum that focuses specifically on Parrotlets. I plan to visit often.
I've had my little guy, Quito, for about 6+ years and am deeply in love. I do feel guilty at times that I can't spend even more time with him. Both my hubby and I have full time jobs and come home after 6 pm. I wish he didn't have to stay home so long by himself.
Quito has a relatively small vocabulary consisting of about 12 Czech and English words, but he does utter them at the most appropriate times. I do believe that he truly understands most of their meanings.
