Just wondering what advice y'all have about parrotlets.. Im interested in gettin one as a pet. Should I? I hear they can be bold and fiesty?! Do they make good pets?

Parrotlets make wonderful pets...however you should be committed to giving them alot of attention. They are very affectionate and loving intelligent birds. Both my husband and I spend a great deal of time holding, petting and talking to our parrotlet. That way she is equally comfortable with boh of us.

I am echoing Margie. They are so social that they really do need regular attention outside of their cages. Our little male will pace if he hasn't been out in more then a day.
