I don't know if you have seen "How Clean is Your House?" but I love this show... and anyway, someone recently sent me this episode and I was just howling laughing... it's totally disgusting (i probably should feel sorry for the birds but maybe it just seems so surreal and they also seem to happy...)

I could not imagine living in conditions like that...I'm a fanatic on keeping my birds fed well and cages cleaned and when I saw that I just couldn't believe it. The folks that cleaned that place need a medal...

I'd have been more horrified except the birds seem to fly above the poop and are more or less sitting on higher ground, but yeah.. seriously messed up.
It reminds me of this puppy mill I cleaned up once... 14 dogs in a 8x8foot concrete room with the windows shut. Not nice.

I was eating while watching some of it and I want to throw up now. That is SO sickening. I saw another episode once about a couple and their dogs + chinchillas. That one was infested with bugs.

After reading all the comments, I definitely do not need to see it! Sounds completely gross and disgusting. Amazing how some people can live, and how some don't care well for their animals.

You know, all that mold and all... that is not healthly for the birds as well as herself. I saw one of her parakeets eating on a plate on the floor! Gross!

Kathy- can you give me that episode with the chinnies on it? I want to watch it.

I couldn't watch near all of it...if that woman could live in that she must have a heavy duty immune system! I guess the birds do too
