My little guy is still being had fed and I hope to have him home in 3 weeks. I have a QP Cabo, I am going to quarentine my p'let ( no name yet) upstairs in my office. After the time is up, how do I introduce them? I will probably never have them both out of the cage at the same time but would like to have them in my office together while I am working. Suggestions?

So you mean you want them both in your office, but in separate cages?
That's no problem. They shouldn't mind. The new one definitely won't, and Cabo probably won't. Cabo might enjoy the company, and they will possibly chat back and forth.
Just don't have their cages so close that they can reach the other with their beak, because you might end up with some missing toes.

I would be curious to see how they react to each other...I would love to get a Quaker but not certain how Kiwi would feel about that but have often wondered. We'd love to see pics when your little one arrives.

I've got 2 QP and 2 p'lets. I've had them out at the same time, the QPs stick to one side of the room, the p'lets become glued to me. The used to share a room and they would talk back and forth, but had little desire to actually be near each other.
I would never EVER let one set out in the same room with the others still in the cage. Both species are cage territorial and toes will be lost. General my female QP actually uncovered Gelato's cage when I first got him and bit his toe nail off (I had turned around for a minute to get a book out of my book bag and she lifted the cover, went under and then I hear some screeching....everything is okay now, just extra EXTRA careful about everything now).
Plus QPs can be very loud.... I can hear my 2 from the front lawn when they do their mad calls. Plus the morning wake ups aren't fun. I can sleep through the p'lets doing the morning calls, no the QPs. The "ACK ACK ACK AAAACCCCCKKKKKKKKK" can get old.
The only reason I have the sets out at the same time is because the QPs stay on their platform at all times and the p'lets stay on their cages or on me. I never leave the room when they are out together and I make sure there are no other distractions. I dont do it that often, only on days that I don't have the extra time to let each set out on their own. This is because QPs are bullies, they will bully anything that is smaller than them... and as we all know, p'lets aren't the brightest when it comes to their size....
