I went to Walmart today and got the cutest fleece today to make a snuggle ring. I got the rings at Michaels.
I also got some wicker balls from Walmart, a box of 5 for $5.
I got two wicker hoop/wreath type things that the Dollar Store.
I'll post pics here when I'm done. I think the baby will be ready in about a week!!!

Haha! Actually I haven't even started to put toys in the big cage yet. I've just got them all in a bin so I can see what all I have. I know I've got plenty to do lots of rotations. I'm a little worried though that he won't even care about toys and I've got all this stuff. haha! I'm going to have him in the small cage for a little bit when I first bring him home. The breeder wants him in the small cage with a towel on the bottom in case he falls off a perch. She wants the perches low too and gradually raised.
I've made a boing so far and this snuggle ring. Everything else I have is from the baby aisles and toys with bells on it from the pet store. I got a neat baby toy that I was able to stuff crinkled paper inside of.
The only thing I don't have yet for the cage that I want is a swing. I can't make up my mind on which kind I want.

Don't be disappointed if he does play with his toys right away. Babies take time to figure out what to do with all these things hanging around. Took mine about 2 months to start playing and chewing them.
I know how excited you must be!

Looks great! :) Might I suggest a rope perch? Darcy loves his, not just to sit on, but to shred! Practical and entertaining. He goes through at least 2 or 3 a year....
He also has a habit of ignoring a new toy for a month. Then one day I come home and it is DESTROYED.

Looks great! He will certainly have lots to entertain himself. Reminds me of Tiki's cage, he is a little green p'lt and I don't know why but everything I put in his cage is either green or has green in it...so when I look in to find him it takes me a couple seconds to locate him...I need to invest in GPS for him LOL. Love your handywork with the toys!

I also bought some food dishes that I can place higher up in the cage. I don't like how all the food dishes are all low. I don't care for the door either. The cage was free though!
