Memmey,

It looks like Skeeter has stabilized a bit - that's great news!!

Who is Chev?

Regards,

Art S.

Hey Art, Chev is the pack mate of Skeet. I had four and last week I had to put one down. Miss Brownie couldn't walk anymore and I hated to do it. It broke my heart but I owed her better that to let her suffer. So now I have 3.
I know only a few of you will get the humor of this. I was digging the grave and it was hot hot. I used a shovel and then post hole diggers. Brown was 60 or more pounds and the hole had to be big. I had not yet taken her to the vet to be out down so my heart was big while I was digging it. Skeet wandered out and fell into the hole straight away and then I had a visual and realized it was big enough. It was the only humor in an otherwise sad sad day.
Now little Chevy( as in Chase, Maryland) he is a clown. I found him in the drivethru at the post office. I think he is beagle bassett mix. One of his legs turns way way around. It doesn't slow him down, he is waiting to take Skeet's place in the pack. The man is ready, he is totally up to the job. He is a whole dog long and a half dog tall. I think he is very handsome.

Memmey sorry to hear about Miss Brownie - putting our pets down when the time comes is inevitable but always very hard. That was great the Skeeter helped you with the dig - he may not have fallen in because he is blind he was probably wondering when you were going to stop digging so he had to show you it was deep enough already!

Its nice where you live they let you take your Pets home to bury them yourself - they don't allow that where I live - we have the option to allow the Vets to dispose of them or have them cremated and take the ashes home.

Again sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about Miss Brownie Memmey. Very nice you can have her close by in the garden.
Skeeter looks like if he's still having a good time! Very helpfull of him to show you the right size of the grave...
So you have Skeet, Chev and ...? Did I miss someone?
You just pick up all the sick and abandond, don't you?

Just popping in a bit to say I'm glad Skeeter is doing well on the meds! I try as much as I can to spread the word that pet medications are available at walmart, you just have to ask. Your vet is there to serve you and your pet, not the other way around.

This made my day by the way. Thank you so much for sharing
