Well I have heard about feeding em oatmeal.. seems right up Mavrics alley.. mushy able to mix seed in..
So I whipped up a half assed batch of rolled oats.. probably half cooked expecting him to have a few bites and go to sleep.. well over 30 minutes later he is still going NUTS on it... but I am not sure if it was a good idea as there is now oatmeal EVERYWHERE like I mean EVERYWHERE ha hahaha

too cute...Kiwi is the same way...I put her on the kitchen table for easy clean up since she loves to fling it :)

So you mean he is probably eating it too?? Even your birds that eat it without any seed in it still fling it around? Well that is good news!

yes, I mix chopped walnut and dried blueberries in with her oatmeal and some cinnamon...she loves it.

Mavrick!!! Good boy! Ha, well, it is messy, but good for ya!

Sally...I love the love of total contentment as Chipper takes a bite of her oatmeal..when Kiwi really likes something, she will close her eyes like that.
