What is the Karma Icon on my badge?

I haven't been on this site in a good few months. I came back and a few things were changed. I've managed to figure most things out, but I can't figure out what the Karma Icon is on my Badge. Does anyone know what that thing is?

I know on other forums I have been on they had a button where you could give people good karma (if they gave you good advice or you really liked their post or somthing), but I don't see that option so I have no idea what that is showing!

The karma button over in both talk budgies and talk parrots acts as sorta a like button... you click to give karma to people that have given good advise or said something you want to reward... and they get karma points for it... the points don't do anything...lol just show that you are a helpful caring person I guess.

I don't think it is functional here... the karma is there but no karma button to give it with...There should be a little icon up in the top right corner of the post... but it is missing...lol

Over in wwwtalkbudgies.com in each post there is the number of the post ( same as here) in the top right hand corner... their is a button to report a post up there too that shows as a yellow triangle... in between the two is a yin yang symbol... it is black and white... that is the karma icon over there... and there is none here... it looks like this----> http://talkbudgies.com/images/steelblue/buttons/reputation.gif over in www.talkparrots.com it looks like this----> (http://talkbudgies.com/reputation.php?p=915752)http://www.talkparrots.com/images/kleo/buttons/reputation.gifno idea why my words turned green and are underlined...lol...

I think you all deserve Karma because you have been so helpful and welcoming to me in just the few short days I've been here! I cannot wait to log on to the forum each day to see what I've missed or for new information. You all are the best! I send a round of Karma to all of you! =)

Okay the Karma system should be enabled now. :) Here, the button is the scale: http://talkparrotlets.com/images/buttons/reputation.gif, which can be found in the bottom left corner of the post.

If you click that button, you'll have the chance to "approve" (aka like) the post and leave a comment as well. You should be able to view the Karma points/comments you have received in your User CP. We'll see if they show up though. :rolleyes:

I'll put together a more detailed post about the Karma system so you can all get a better understanding of it.

As you are reading this, look to your left, under your name, then go down and at the bottom you will see icons, the second silver thing is the karma button, but you can't give it to yourself, you have look at someone's else's (like mine) :D push it and give Karma..;)
