My p'let won't eat anything but seed. However, I have been told all p'lets (not mine, tho) love spray millet. You might try that. Good luck with clicker training. Keep us posted.

Don't forget those black sunflower seeds.. they seem like they would be a good clicker training treat as it is one single treat that they love!

I would love to know too. I have tried SO many times to get Buddy to eat our food. He just shreds lettuce, tosses the tomatoes out of my hand, and picks at bread. He will eat small amounts of corn, broccoli, and pasta. He does like cooked egg yolks too. But not enough to make a difference in his diet. Do I just need to keep trying? Even fruit he picks it up with his beak and literally tosses it on the floor. I need help too!

You can get corn bread mix and add anything they don't normally eat. I add lots of things, veggies, seed, Goldenfeast, etc.

I make banana apple muffins and cookies with oatmeal, wheat flour, pellets and seeds. Chipper rarely eats seed, so I add it to breads and baked things.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/Sally11/birdiebread.jpg

Keep offering nutritious foods over and over. They throw it away at first, but I think it's like a game of hot potato. They want to touch it, but they have to make sure it is safe. Let them throw it; offer it again. Try different sizes and let them see you prepare it and eat it yourself. They will get the courage up to explore it with their beaks, and that will lead to eating it.
