Hi, a friend of mine who has a lil female parrotlet really liked the fuzzy snuggle type swing I made for my bird, and wanted me to make her one. Now, I am just a little leary doing so because I mentioned to her, that her female bird may think of it as a nest, and may try laying eggs with it around.

I haven't used fuzzy things for any of my female birds in the past, to avoid this type of behavior. I used a "birdy buddy" with my female senegal and she would constantly try feeding it. So I removed it. But that's all I ever tried with the female birds.

Has anyone used these "snuggle rings" for their female parrotlets and have they noticed if the bird became more territorial or wanting to nest in it? My friend thinks that it'll be fine and she isn't worried but I'd hate to waste my time if she may have issues with it. Or to create problems for her and her bird.

What do you guys think? I know ever bird is different but just thought if I could see if anyone has had issues, or am I just worry about it to much.

Thanks!

I never had an issue, but then my guys weren't interested in the snuggle type stuff. I would just go for it and keep a close eye on it. My guys always picked the weirdest things to "like" in that way.
