Version 2

As you might have noticed (depending on your settings), the new style has been released. Introducing Version 2. If you're a member of TB, the layout will look quite familiar, just with a different color. :p

Some new features include:

Sidebar - provides quick access to some popular areas of the website, as well as a list of the forums you can view anywhere on the site so you don't have to go the forum home. The search feature is now located on the sidebar as well.

Tabs - toward the top of the page are some more convenient links to the major areas of the website: home page, forums, and gallery.

Badge - at the top right corner of the page is your badge. Here, you can view some of your account information. The badge also contains the My TP menu. Click this button and you'll see a menu providing more quick links, this time to information related to you!

Full width - for those of you with wide screens, the content of our website now takes up the entire screen. So no more empty areas on either side of the screen.

You can always change back to the original style by going to your Edit Options page (http://talkparrotlets.com/profile.php?do=editoptions). Scroll down to the very bottom and select Talk Parrotlets Version 1.

It works a bit in an odd way on my screen (which is really large, that's probably why), but I can see how this will work better on smaller screens :)

Having a vision impairment, combined with also having a widescreen monitor, is a bit more than I can visually tolerate. I agree that version 2 would work on a smaller monitor but I'm glad you still left version 1 as an option!

I really love the new style, but it's a littttle overwhelming on my computer screen. I like that its very easy though, I think I'll give it a little time to see if I get used to it. If I don't I really, really appreciate that you left us the option to revert back to Version 1!

I like it! I like the updated graphics as well, the old design was starting to look a little dated.
