I used a 5" plastic embroidery ring I purchased from AC Moore for $3 & scrap fleece I purchased from JoAnns for $2.50. I plan on useing a zip tie to attach it to the cage.
This is the larger outer ring that will be for the Lovie...

I'm just wondering should I wash it before placing in the cage?

Very nice:) I usually wash the fabric before I use it.

Thanks...I did not think of washing the fabric until after I made the ring. Oh well hope the ring washes well.

Nice, I made one out of an swing, made it for Noel. Zack nor her will have anything to do with it. Most birds love them.
You can wash the ring easily by soaking it in a dish for half and hour and then washing it under running water, then hang to dry.
Good job on the ring - the closer and tightly packed the knots are on the ring, the better the like it! :)
looks nice!! I need to make one of those for Kronus.

Thanks... A snuggle swing is a great idea. I hoping my guys will like it.

I'll do that. Much easier then the washer. Thank you. I pushed the pieces very close together, so hopefully its tight enough.

Coconut has one and he sleeps in it every night. When I clean his cage, I just wash it under the running water in the sink and a little liquid dish soap, rinse very well and put it out to dry in the sun. They wash up nicely.

Hey you just gave me an idea. I have a swing on a birdy gym that Pixel never uses. Maybe i'll turn it into a snuggle swing and put it in his cage.
