What are the reasons for banning?

Someone I know on this site has been banned, and I didn't even know it happened. I just found out because I looked at their profile. I realize it's probably inappropriate to ask about the specific person, but I'm still curious as to why they were banned. So, uh... how do people get banned from here? Aside from the usual spamming and all that, which I don't think this person was doing... If they did something inappropriate in a thread, I guess I missed it.

I think it's generally inapropriate posting, not listening to the rules (not just once, but many times), treating others with disrespect, etc. etc.

Even if they pm a person and bother them, that is reason to ban, we don't know who you are talking about, so far since I have been on the mod list, no one has been banned....yet. :)

On that note, how do we notify a moderator if we're being harassed? PM? (Not that I am experiencing this... Just curious :) )

Look at the bottm of the post page, you will see (view forum leaders) by the forum leaders name is a button that says PM..or you can click on a mods name and Pm them that way. Hope this helps..:)
